Curious Elixir No. 8 is the digestif in Curious Elixirs' numbered cocktail series and one of its most distinctive entries. Modelled on an amaro, it draws bitterness from gentian root and builds a dark fruit base from blackberry, blueberry, and fig, with blackstrap molasses adding depth. What sets it apart from conventional non-alcoholic amaros is the inclusion of three adaptogenic mushrooms (lion's mane, reishi, and chaga), giving it a functional dimension rarely seen in digestif-format drinks.
