Estrella Galicia 0.0 is an alcohol-free pilsner-style lager brewed in A Coruña, Spain, by Hijos de Rivera. It is produced via interrupted fermentation, a process in which the yeast works the unfermented beer for just 12 hours before fermentation is stopped, limiting alcohol production. The beer is bright golden in colour, as is typical of this style, with fine carbonation. Malt and cereal aromas come through on the nose alongside subtle, floral hop qualities. On the palate, the bitterness is sharp and sturdy alongside a pleasant sweetness, with an interplay of malt and hops. The finish brings a long, bitter aftertaste that is clean and dry.
