About This Drink
Fre Pinot Grigio sits within the brand's range of dealcoholised varietal wines. The grapes come from California's marine-influenced vineyards, where cool night temperatures help the fruit retain its characteristic acidity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the varietal's natural character before dealcoholisation. During the spinning cone process, centrifugal force and vacuum pressure separate the delicate aroma and flavour compounds from the alcohol; these are then reintroduced to the dealcoholised base and blended with unfermented grape juice to restore the profile. The brand describes the result as bright and crisp, positioning this as the brighter, more fruit-forward white wine option within the range. As a non-alcoholic wine, it follows exactly the same production sequence as the other expressions in the line.
