Glen Dochus Island Blend is the smokiest expression in the Glen Dochus range, explicitly modelled on an Islay malt profile with smoke and sea salt as its core character. The water is drawn from the Cairngorm mountains, having spent around 50 years filtering through granite rock before use. The botanical extraction process itself uses a 50-year-old traditional method developed to capture the essence of the plant material. The brand spent six years in research and development to arrive at this formula. The name Dochus derives from the Gaelic word for Hope, a heritage reference woven into the brand identity.
