Fling Fresh Orange Sour started life as a limited-edition release before Heaps Normal made it a permanent part of their core range. The recipe follows the Gose tradition, bringing a salty finish alongside its citrus character. Head brewer Ben Holdstock used thyme specifically as a savoury, herbal counterpoint to the blood orange, a deliberate design choice to steer the beer away from a juice-like profile. At the time of launch, press coverage likened the result to a non-alcoholic beermosa: high-acid and citrus-forward, but structured as a beer rather than a fruit drink.
