Mahala Botanical Classic is made at an all-female distillery in Cape Town. Nine botanicals are hand-sourced for the recipe, and two of them, honeybush and buchu, grow exclusively in the Western Cape, giving the expression regional character unavailable elsewhere. The Botanical Classic is free from artificial flavours and colourants. It sits alongside the Botanical Amber in the Mahala range as the lighter of the two expressions, suited to use as a non-alcoholic spirit base.
