Maschio Zero Alcohol Sparkling is an alcohol-free sparkling wine made by Cantine Maschio in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It begins as a real wine: grape must is fermented in the usual way, then put through dealcoholisation, meaning the alcohol is taken back out once fermentation is done. The result is light yellow with golden tints in the glass. The aroma is fruity and floral. To taste it is light, fruity and juicy, with apricot and a well-balanced freshness. Serve it chilled at 6 to 8°C.
