About This Drink
Menabrea Zero Zero is an alcohol-free lager brewed in Biella, Italy. It uses a bottom-fermenting yeast, the cold-fermentation method that gives lager its clean, settled character, and includes brewer's maize alongside the barley malt. The wort extract is 4.4 °Plato, a measure of the original fermentable sugars before brewing, and the carbonation sits at 5.3 g/l. Golden yellow in the glass, it has an aroma of light malt and floral hops. The taste is finely balanced, delicate yet full-bodied, with smooth subtle bitterness and sweetness, and a crisp malt character. The finish is clean and refreshing. It suits aperitifs or pizza equally well.
