Moderato Cuvée Révolutionnaire Merlot Tannat is an alcohol-free red wine from the Gascony region of Southwest France, sitting within the brand's Cuvée Révolutionnaire sub-range. The blend combines 70% Merlot with 30% Tannat, a pairing that reflects the structured character typical of Southwest French reds. The alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation at low temperatures, a process where reduced air pressure lowers the boiling point and allows alcohol to be separated with minimal heat, preserving the wine's natural aromas. The wine was developed in collaboration with oenologist Vincent Pugereau. Moderato describes it as characterful, structured, and balanced.
