About This Drink
Moderato Cuvée Révolutionnaire Pinot Noir is the red-wine expression in the brand's Cuvée Révolutionnaire sub-range, a line that marked Moderato's step from its original lower-alcohol Cuvée Originale wines to a completely non-alcoholic 0.0% profile. The range was developed over two years in collaboration with oenologist Vincent Pugnère, with the specific aim of ensuring the dealcoholisation process preserved the varietal character of each grape. The Pinot Noir grapes come from sun-drenched clay-limestone soils in the South of France, selected for their capacity to reach full maturity before processing. The brand describes a supple, silky structure with fine tannins.
