About This Drink
Paulaner Münchner Hell Alkoholfrei is an alcohol-free lager from Munich's Paulaner Brauerei, first released in 1987, when Paulaner was among the first breweries to bring an AF Helles to market. Brewed with Herkules and Hallertauer Tradition hops, it has an original wort content of 6.5%, a measure of the fermentable sugars before fermentation. Golden and effervescent, the aroma carries hay and herbs alongside a light hop presence. The taste is delicately spicy and full-bodied, with subtle sweetness, a fine hoppy character, and a refreshingly tangy edge. It also contains minerals and salts in isotonic quality, meaning at a concentration matching the body's own fluid balance.
