About This Drink
Remedy Passionfruit runs through the same 30-day SCOBY fermentation as the rest of the range. Passionfruit flavouring does most of the lifting, with lemon juice adding sharpness and a natural lemongrass flavouring giving a faint herbal brightness at the end. Erythritol and stevia are added after fermentation. The passionfruit comes through clearly, though it's flavouring rather than juice, so the result is fruity without the intensity of fresh fruit. Lemongrass is subtle, present mainly on the finish as a clean, slightly grassy note. The kombucha fermentation adds tartness rather than sweetness, which keeps the tropical flavours from going flat. Carbonation is moderate. Alongside Pineapple Lime and Mango Passion, this is one of the more tropical options in the range. If you're used to Mango Passion, Passionfruit is a little sharper and more singular in character.
