De-alcoholised Sauvignon Blanc TTD
A 0.5% Taste the Difference Sauvignon Blanc made from 99% dealcoholised wine, with crisp green fruit character at just 11 calories per 100ml.
About This Drink
Among Sainsbury's own-label low-alcohol whites, this is the most distinctive. Using 99% dealcoholised wine rather than the grape-must blends of the standard range means the Sauvignon character has more to work with — and reviewers frequently mention elderflower, lemon, and green apple in a way that suggests the varietal identity has survived the process reasonably intact. The CellarTracker community notes describe a musky nose with elderflower, clean acidity, and more character than most non-alcoholic whites. At 0.5% it's technically low-alcohol rather than alcohol-free, which is worth noting if that distinction matters to you. The calorie count is genuinely impressive at 11kcal per 100ml — one of the lowest you'll find on a de-alcoholised white. It's a Sainsbury's exclusive, priced around £3.50 a bottle, and represents solid value in the dealcoholised Sauvignon Blanc category.
