Sierra Nevada's Trail Pass IPA is an alcohol-free IPA brewed by traditional methods rather than by removing alcohol from a full-strength beer. The recipe was developed over five years using an innovative yeast and a blend of five hop varieties. Amarillo and CTZ hops give the aroma citrus and pine character, in keeping with the classic hoppy profile of the style. Light amber in the glass with a large frothy head, the palate brings balanced bitterness, a silky malt body and a clean finish, with the whole drink landing as a refreshing bittersweet mouthful. It sits alongside several siblings in the brand's Trail Pass series.
