Sobah Aniseed Myrtle Stout is positioned as the winter warmer in Sobah's range of non-alcoholic craft beers, each centred on a different Australian First Nations botanical. This stout features Aniseed Myrtle, a rainforest botanical from the Bunjalung nations of Northern NSW and South East Queensland, sourced for the natural sweetness and licorice-like aroma it brings to the finish. The malt base combines chocolate and roasted malts for toasty depth. The drink was developed as part of Sobah's aim to bring First Nations bush tucker ingredients into a contemporary craft beer format.
