Utopian AF Pilsner is the Devon brewery's first alcohol-free beer, launched in November 2024 after a 12-month development programme led by head brewer Jeremy Swainson. Rather than dealcoholising an existing full-strength beer, the pilsner is cold-fermented using authentic bottom-fermenting lager yeast, keeping alcohol naturally low from the start. The process includes a double decoction mash and a minimum 30-day lagering period. British-grown barley and hops are used throughout, and the beer is left unfiltered.
