About This Drink
Versin is produced by Industrias Espadafor, a Granada-based company that transitioned from conventional wine and spirits to specialising in non-alcoholic beverages during the 1980s. The product was developed as a direct alcohol-free counterpart to traditional vermouth: it uses the same botanical maceration approach, incorporating herbs native to the mountains of Granada, but without the fermentation stage that would produce alcohol. It is intended to be served in exactly the same manner as a classic vermouth: neat over ice, garnished with an olive or a slice of orange.
