Sea Change is a UK-based wine brand founded in 2018 by Simon Rolfe and Ian Anderson, with ocean conservation built into its commercial model from the outset. The brand operates under 10 International, a global wine distributor, and entered the alcohol-free category in 2020 with Sea Change Free, a sparkling wine alternative made in Italy from Glera grapes, the same variety used in Prosecco production. Sea Change Free is available through specialist alcohol-free retailers and direct from the brand.

The environmental mission is structural rather than decorative. Sea Change donates a portion of revenue from every bottle sold to marine conservation partners including Ocean Optimism and the Marine Conservation Society. Packaging choices reinforce this commitment: bottles use naked corks with no plastic or foil capsule around the neck, and labels are produced from certified sustainable grape waste or recycled paper.

Sea Change Free occupies a specific niche in the AF sparkling category: a prosecco-style format aimed at sober-curious drinkers who want a celebratory option with a documented environmental rationale behind every purchase. The range is deliberately narrow, with a single flagship AF product rather than a broad portfolio. Sea Change sits in the mid-range bracket and is best understood as a mixed wine brand whose AF line reflects the same values as its conventional range.
