Rob Hamilton started the brewery as a one-person operation in a small unit in Manchester's Green Quarter in 2012. It has since grown into a fixture of the city's craft beer scene, operating its own taprooms and building a following across both traditional cask and contemporary keg formats. Blackjack's alcohol-free range currently centres on a full-bodied AF IPA designed to carry the character of the brewery's standard craft output.
