Glimmer

The brand grew from a personal situation: Marina was pregnant and Jane was on her own journey to pregnancy, and neither founder wanted to sacrifice flavour or quality from the experience of raising a glass. That founding motivation shapes who Glimmer is for: people who are pregnant, sober-curious drinkers, those in recovery, and anyone choosing to occasionally step back from alcohol.

The wine is dealcoholised using reverse osmosis, meaning it is fermented to full strength before the alcohol is removed. Glimmer holds certified sustainable status and its packaging is fully recyclable. The bottle and branding were designed by Marina Billinghurst. One of its drinks has picked up an award.

Glimmer is a female-owned business that ships across Canada. Its sparkling wine is available in restaurants as well as through direct sales.
