Aetos

Viña de Aguirre was founded by Pedro Félix de Aguirre and Ana María Etcheberry, and the business has remained entirely within the family ever since. The Aetos name comes from the Greek word for eagle, a reference to the birds that circle above the vineyards in this southern Chilean valley. Sustainability is central to the winery's approach: Viña de Aguirre is committed to sustainable agricultural practices and the active protection of the natural environment surrounding its Maule Valley vineyards.

Aetos channels its 0.0% wine range under the Gentle Sensation label. The wines are dealcoholised using a spinning cone column, a low-temperature process in which the wine is spun under reduced pressure to separate out the alcohol whilst keeping the original fruit aromas largely intact.
