Astoria is a sparkling wine producer based in the Veneto region of Italy, founded in 1987. The winery produces sparkling wines, and in 2012 it launched its first alcohol-free wine, entering the category with a sparkling wine made from white grapes. The production process involves soft pressing of the grapes, with carbon dioxide added to achieve the characteristic effervescence. In 2015, Astoria extended the range with its first certified organic Prosecco, introducing wine from organically farmed fruit as a distinct offering alongside the conventional sparkling range.

The brand distributes through multiple retail channels, with the alcohol-free sparkling wine available to sober-curious drinkers through specialist and mainstream outlets. Price positioning is mid-range, giving the alcohol-free wine broad accessibility.
