Buxton Brewery
Buxton Brewery is a Derbyshire brewery that began on 1 January 2009, when its founders mashed a first batch of around 40 litres in the family garage, producing a Pale Ale. Commercial production came through cuckoo-brewing at another local microbrewery, and full-time brewing began in January 2010. The brewery is based on Staden Lane in Buxton, within the Peak District National Park.
The current range includes a core of seven beers brewed year-round alongside more than 30 seasonal and one-off releases planned for 2026. Each brew yields around 3,500 litres, supported by a production and packaging team of 11 people. Buxton Brewery also owns and operates three bars in the town, employing around 20 bar staff, and collection is available directly from the brewery site.
The alcohol-free beer in the range is derived from the brewery's flagship IPA, making that recipe's character available to sober-curious drinkers and designated drivers without the alcohol. Orders can be placed direct through the brewery's shop, with free delivery on qualifying purchases.
