Citizen Spritz

Citizen Spritz is a British alcohol-free aperitif spritz brand, launched in December 2022 by co-founders Mark Gould and Mike Bagshaw, with every variant made from over 40 natural ingredients. The two co-founders developed the range after looking to reduce their own alcohol intake and finding that the AF drinks and mocktails available at the time did not meet their expectations.

Citizen Spritz makes concentrated spritz mixes: each needs only sparkling water to produce a finished serve, with one bottle yielding 20 serves in total. Ingredients include agave syrup and grape juice concentrate. None of the drinks is dealcoholised or filtered to remove alcohol; they are produced as alcohol-free from the start.

The brand positions itself in the aperitif spritz category for drinkers looking to practise mindful moderation, and the range is stocked through multiple retail channels.
