Iford sources apples from growers across Somerset and also works with supermarket rejects from the eastside of England, using fruit that the mainstream retail food chain typically sets aside. The ciders are naturally fermented, and the alcohol-free option is made from fresh fruit rather than concentrate, using a wild fermentation method in which naturally occurring yeasts drive the process.

Session hazy and dryish varieties sit within the alcoholic range, with the alcohol-free cider available alongside them. Packaging uses highly recyclable materials, with the brand describing minimum environmental impact as a goal from production through to the pack itself.
