Karbach Brewing

Chuck Robertson, Ken Goodman, and brewmaster Eric Warner opened the brewery on Karbach Street in Houston's Spring Branch neighbourhood. The street coincidentally shares its name with a village in Bavaria, Germany. Karbach's approach to brewing pairs German techniques with American craft sensibility. In 2013, it was cited in the New Yorker as the second fastest-growing craft brewery in the United States. Anheuser-Busch InBev acquired the company in November 2016.

The brewery operates from 2032 Karbach Street, where a $15 million expansion completed in 2015 enlarged the brewhouse and added an on-site restaurant. The 120-barrel German-designed brewhouse uses Ziemann-supplied fermentation tanks. By 2019, Karbach had reduced its water usage from 7.1 to 4 barrels of water per barrel of beer.

The alcohol-free beer in its range has picked up awards. As of 2023, Karbach's beers are distributed across five states: Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
