Kin Euphorics
Kin Euphorics is an alcohol-free functional beverage brand from the United States, launched in December 2018 by Jen Batchelor and Matthew Cauble.
Batchelor developed the founding recipes in her home kitchen in New York City's Lower East Side, drawing on Ayurvedic medicine traditions and spending two years building a community through grassroots tasting events before the brand went public. Kin Euphorics describes itself as the first in a category it calls "euphorics": drinks built around adaptogens, nootropics, and botanical ingredients rather than alcohol. Adaptogens are plant-based compounds traditionally used to support the body's response to stress; nootropics are ingredients associated with mental focus and clarity. The formulas draw on botanicals including ashwagandha, Rhodiola rosea, Reishi mushroom, Schisandra, L-Theanine, and hops. None of the products contain CBD, hemp, or cannabis.
Kin Euphorics raised approximately $5 million in seed funding. Model Bella Hadid joined as Co-founder in 2021. The brand is now based in Austin. Its drinks are formulated to support social connection and personal wellbeing without alcohol, making the range a natural choice for sober-curious drinkers.
By 2023, Kin Euphorics was stocked in over 3,000 retail locations. In 2024, the brand introduced the Kin on Tap programme. Products ship to all 50 US states.
