LOAH
LOAH is an alcohol-free beer brand founded in London in 2020 by Hugo Tapp, who built the brand from a kitchen table in Hackney while looking for more interesting alternatives to alcohol. The brand operates entirely within the low and no alcohol beer category.
LOAH brews its beers in exactly the same way as a full-strength alcoholic beer, but with the process aimed specifically at reaching 0.5% ABV. The range is fruit-forward in character and spans lagers, pale ales and IPAs, with styles that include European Pilsners. Barley and Centennial hops feature in the brewing, alongside natural fruit flavourings.
The brand distributes through multiple channels and offers free delivery during Dry January. In 2023 LOAH raised £430,000 through a crowdfunding campaign.
In 2026 the brand was acquired by Cawston Press, a soft drinks supplier, for an undisclosed sum.
