Purbeck is a cider producer based in the Purbeck hills of Dorset, England, near Corfe Castle, founded in 2006 by Joe Hartle, who serves as founder and managing director. The business is a family farming operation run by Joe and Kate Hartle, using apples grown entirely within Dorset.

The ciders are produced from 100% single-pressed apples sourced exclusively from Dorset orchards, without concentrates, artificial flavours or additives. Cold fermentation is used throughout the range. The company's orchards include over 20 varieties of apple, among them Tom Putt, Golden Ball, Prince William and Three Counties apples, and Purbeck also cultivates 10 varieties of perry pear. More than 15,000 trees have been planted across the growing sites. Alongside its core fermented range, the company produces a sparkling cider line using the méthode champenoise method, meaning the drinks undergo secondary fermentation inside the bottle in the manner of traditional Champagne production. The Dorset Cider Farm shop and tasting room opened in 2021, and a new belt press was installed in 2023.

Purbeck's first alcohol-free cider follows the same production path as its other ciders, pressed, fermented and matured in the usual way, with the alcoholic content then removed after a slow, pressurised fermentation. The drink uses Dorset apples from the company's local orchards and is positioned in part as a choice for people observing Dry January.
