The distillery built its reputation quickly on the alcoholic side. The Sky Wave London Dry Gin took the top prize for Contemporary Gin at the World Gin Awards, a result that put this tiny Oxfordshire operation on the radar of serious gin drinkers. The range has expanded since, but the small-batch ethos has stayed consistent.

Sky Wave Zero is the brand's sole alcohol-free offering, and it was a considered project rather than a quick market response. Parsons spent around eighteen months developing it, using the same distillation process applied to the core gin range. The botanical bill centres on three citrus varieties and fresh ginger, which gives it a zesty, slightly warming profile. Juniper is present but less assertive than in the alcoholic versions. The nose is citrus-forward, with orange and floral notes coming through on the palate and a gentle spice on the finish. It is built to go with tonic and not to apologise for the absence of alcohol.

Sky Wave Zero sits at the premium end of the alcohol-free spirits market, priced in line with mid-shelf craft gins. The brand sells direct through its own website and is stocked by specialist spirits retailers. For a distillery of this size, having a single, carefully developed AF expression rather than a sprawling range makes sense. The question is how much wider distribution the brand seeks as the category grows.
