The founders built the distillery from scratch and named it after a radio propagation phenomenon, drawing on their backgrounds in broadcasting and the military. The Bicester Heritage setting, known as a hub for historic motoring and aviation, is central to the brand's identity and informs its aesthetic across the full range.

Sky Wave Zero, the brand's alcohol-free offering, launched in late 2021. Rather than being developed as a separate product, it was built around the same botanical profile as the signature London Dry Gin. That direct relationship between the gin and the AF spirit was a deliberate decision: the founders wanted to give designated drivers and those moderating their intake something with genuine botanical complexity tied to the distillery's existing work, rather than a separately conceived formulation.

Sky Wave Zero sits in the premium bracket, consistent with the wider range's positioning, and is available through specialist online channels. Distribution remains appropriately narrow for a micro-distillery of this scale. The core range comprises premium gins alongside the single alcohol-free spirit, which reflects the brand's independent, small-batch character rather than a trend-led pivot into the AF category.
