Sobour

Sobour is a Scotland-based alcohol-free spirits brand producing bourbon-style and rye-style alternatives to American whiskey, founded by Roddy and Kerr Nicoll under the Spirits of Virtue label. The brand had its origins in a back-yard in rural Scotland and draws its inspiration from the flavour traditions of American whiskey.

Production uses Scottish Deeside spring water as a base, with bourbon cask chips incorporated into the process to develop barrel character in the finished spirits. Madagascan vanilla and American oak are among the ingredients, contributing warmth, woody depth, and fragrance to the range.

The drinks are designed to be served neat, over ice, or as a cocktail ingredient, making them a useful option for sober-curious drinkers looking for a whiskey-style pour. Sobour sits at the premium end of the alcohol-free spirits category and is sold through multiple retail channels.
