Stowford Press
Stowford Press is a medium-dry sparkling cider from Herefordshire, England, pressed from cider apples grown entirely within 50 miles of its cider mill and matured in oak vats. The alcohol-free version of the cider, produced at 0.5%, was first launched in 1994, originally made on behalf of Cameron's Brewery. When Cameron's Brewery was sold, Weston's acquired the Stowford Press name and continued production.
Every apple that goes into Stowford Press is sourced from local farmers or from Weston's own orchards, with all fruit grown within that 50-mile catchment around the mill. The cider contains no artificial colours, flavours, or sweeteners. Production follows century-old cidermaking traditions and produces a flavour designed to appeal to more contemporary tastes.
The 0.5% cider was revamped in 2010. Stowford Press is available on draught in many pubs across Herefordshire, and is distributed through multiple retail channels.
