Veldensteiner is a Franconian brewery based in Neuhaus an der Pegnitz, Bavaria, producing alcohol-free beers marketed as isotonic and low-calorie alongside its traditional full-strength range.

The brewery is operated by Kaiser Bräu and draws its identity from Franconian brewing heritage, a regional tradition in northern Bavaria known for clean, malt-forward lagers and wheat beers. In 1991, a new facility was constructed on the outskirts of Neuhaus, marking a significant modernisation and expansion of the operation. Veldensteiner sources its brewing water from its own deep wells in the Veldenstein Forest, a deliberate choice that ties the beer's mineral character directly to the local landscape rather than to municipal supply.

The alcohol-free range is presented as isotonic (meaning the drink's mineral concentration is matched closely to that of the human body's fluids, making it easier to absorb during and after physical activity) and low in calories. This positions it at fitness-focused drinkers and active-lifestyle consumers rather than the sober-curious market more broadly.

Several Veldensteiner products use traditional swing-top bottles with the hinged ceramic-cap closure (known in German as Bügelverschluss) associated with regional and craft breweries across Germany and Belgium. Distribution is concentrated in the Franconian and Bavarian regional market, consistent with the brewery's identity as a deeply rooted local producer.
