Wolf Blass is an Australian wine brand founded in 1966 by German-born winemaker Wolfgang Blass in the Barossa Valley, now part of the Treasury Wine Estates portfolio, with an alcohol-free Zero range launched in 2022.

Wolfgang Blass emigrated from Germany to Australia in 1961 and established the label five years later in a tin shed in the Barossa Valley. The brand is now part of Treasury Wine Estates, one of the larger global wine company groups.

The Zero range uses spinning cone technology to remove alcohol at low temperatures. A spinning cone column works by passing wine through a series of rotating cones under reduced pressure, separating the alcohol from the liquid while preserving the aromatic compounds that higher-temperature methods tend to degrade. The lineup covers reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling styles, giving the Zero range coverage across the main wine categories in a single portfolio.

The range sits at mid-range pricing, consistent with Wolf Blass's established market position. Distribution through mainstream supermarkets makes Wolf Blass Zero one of the more broadly accessible AF wine options in retail. The mid-range price point and broad supermarket presence make it a practical entry point for sober-curious shoppers who already know the brand from the full-strength range.
