Wolfgang Blass emigrated from Germany to Australia in 1961 and established the label five years later in a tin shed in the Barossa Valley. The brand is now part of Treasury Wine Estates, one of the larger global wine company groups.

The Zero range uses spinning cone technology to remove alcohol at low temperatures.
