About This Drink
Nolia makes alcohol-free IPA as their sole focus, and the NZ Edition is a limited version of that core product dialled up on hop intensity. Where the standard IPA uses a mix of Yakima Valley and Nelson Sauvin hops, the NZ Edition goes all New Zealand, with a double dose of fresh hops selected for the tropical and wine-grape character that NZ varieties are known for. It pours hazy pale gold. The nose is immediately forward: lime zest, white grape, passionfruit, and a fresh green note that signals the New Zealand origin. The haze is genuine — this is a NEIPA-style execution — and the juiciness follows through on the palate. Lime and passionfruit lead, with white grape adding a slightly wine-like quality that is unusual in the AF IPA category. The bitterness is present but soft, letting the fruit character carry the beer. At 0.5% ABV it sits in the alcohol-free legal category. The NZ Edition is a step up from the standard for hop enthusiasts who want something with more intensity and a specific regional character. Available in 440ml cans.
