Soundwave IPA
An award-winning 0.5% IPA from Siren Craft Brew, loaded with citrus, mango, and stone fruit from generous late hopping.
About This Drink
Soundwave is Siren's flagship IPA, and the 0.5% version is built to deliver the same hop-forward character as the original. It picked up a gold at the Indie Beer Awards in 2026, which tells you it is being taken seriously by people who have tried a lot of low-alcohol IPAs. The hop character is the point here. Fresh citrus comes first on the nose, backed by mango and stone fruit, with a resinous edge underneath. On the palate you get the tropical fruit in abundance, a clean bitterness that builds through the mid-palate, and a finish that has the trademark resinous quality the brewery mentions. The body is light, as expected at 0.5%, but the hop character carries it. It is unfiltered and unfined, vegan friendly, and sits at the more convincing end of the low-alcohol IPA market. The bitterness is subtle rather than sharp, which makes it easy-drinking but does not shortchange the flavour.
