Siren Craft Brew was founded in 2013 by Darron Anley in Finchampstead, Wokingham, Berkshire. The motivation was straightforward: Anley had been paying attention to what was happening in modern craft brewing around 2010 and wanted to bring that style of flavour-forward, experimental beer to a wider audience. The brewery has been at its current Marino Way site since 2017.

Siren built a reputation quickly. Ratebeer named it the best brewery in England in 2015, and it has appeared in the world's top 100 breweries with some regularity. The core range spans stouts, IPAs, and pale ales, and the brewery is known for ambitious limited releases and collaborative projects. It is a serious brewery with a serious following.

The low and no alcohol range sits alongside the main programme rather than as an afterthought. Siren produces hop waters, a non-alcoholic sparkling drink built around the aromatic properties of hops without the bitterness or alcohol. These are a growing part of the brewery's output and attract a different kind of drinker to the core beer range.

Available online through the brewery's own shop and at specialist retailers. Siren also runs a taproom at the Finchampstead site. For craft beer fans looking for an alcohol-free option from a brewery they already respect, this is one of the more credible choices in the category.
