Siren Craft Brew Citra Sparkling Hopwater was the brewery's first ever 0.0% release, moving beyond their previous low-alcohol beer range into entirely alcohol-free territory. The drink was conceived as a hydrating, hop-forward option for the brewery's own team during the working day. To express the Citra hop at its best, the recipe uses a dry-hopping technique borrowed directly from the brewery's beer production, capturing the hop's grapefruit, lime, and tropical fruit aromatics without the bitterness that comes from boiling. Siren also treats the water to a soft-water profile designed to mirror the conditions of the Pacific Northwest, where Citra originates, to better suit the hop character. It sits within the brand's sparkling hopwater series alongside the Nelson Sauvin variant.
