About This Drink
The Dry Apple is probably the most versatile drink in the Genie range. Apple and kombucha is an intuitive pairing — both have a natural tartness, and together they make something that sits closer to a dry cider in character than to a soft drink. The apple here comes from real juice at 11%, which is enough to give genuine fruit character without the result tasting like squash. Genie ferment this over ten days from a black tea base, which gives enough acidity to justify the "dry" in the name. Lemon juice adds a little extra sharpness. There are no added sweeteners, so what you get is the natural residual sweetness from the fermentation process — modest. The 22 kcal and 3.9g sugar per 100ml reflect that.
