Founder Sam Ray spent four months iterating lager brews before settling on this one, and the result has a clean, tidy quality that sets it apart from the usual thirst-quenchers. The hops are Saaz — exactly what you want for the style — and the German malt base gives it that light biscuity backbone before the bitterness takes over and steers it to a dry finish. No sweetness creeping in at the back, which is the usual tell of a lesser AF lager.
