Ghost Czech Pils
A craft alcohol-free Czech pils brewed with German malts and Czech hops, built for the lager lover who wants something properly put together.
About This Drink
Ghost is We Can Be Friends' take on the Czech pilsner — a style with specific demands that a lot of AF brewers sidestep because getting that snappy noble hop character without alcohol is genuinely hard. Founder Sam Ray spent four months iterating lager brews before settling on this one, and the result has a clean, tidy quality that sets it apart from the usual thirst-quenchers. The hops are Saaz — exactly what you want for the style — and the German malt base gives it that light biscuity backbone before the bitterness takes over and steers it to a dry finish. No sweetness creeping in at the back, which is the usual tell of a lesser AF lager. At 0.5% it sits in the low-alcohol rather than true zero-alcohol category, which many drinkers find helps with the texture. It's widely stocked by the main AF retailers in the UK and generally available for around £3.65-£4 a can. Vegan-friendly. Contains gluten — it's a beer, so no surprises there.
