Sparkling Rosé Pinot Noir
A dealcoholised sparkling rosé made from 100% Pinot Noir. Pale pink with fine bubbles, wild berry aromatics, and a soft, silky palate with a lightly spiced, refreshing finish.
About This Drink
Bon Voyage's Sparkling Rosé Pinot Noir is the most characterful bottle in the range. Made entirely from Pinot Noir and dealcoholised by Les Grands Chais de France, it's a proper sparkling rosé — not a still wine with gas added, and not a generic pink fizz. The spinning cone process removes the alcohol gently, which gives the fruit a better chance of surviving intact. It pours a pale pink with fine, subtle perlage. The nose is all wild berry: raspberry and blackberry first, with a spicy edge underneath that stops it reading as just sweet fruit. On the palate it's soft and silky with light carbonation that doesn't crowd out the flavour. The finish is clean and lightly spiced — that sourness is what lifts it above the flat, overly sweet impression you get from lesser dealcoholised sparklers. Serve it cold — 6 to 8°C — as you would any sparkling rosé. It works well as an aperitif and is a natural fit for occasions when everyone else is drinking fizz. The Pinot Noir makes it more interesting than generic blended sparkling AF options, and the whole range from Bon Voyage punches reasonably above its price point.
