About This Drink
Unlike the Fassbrause range, the Mai Tai Classic contains no beer. It's a straight soft drink built to mimic the cocktail format: orange juice concentrate, tropical fruit concentrates, and flavourings that include a faint almond note - a nod to the orgeat that features in a classic Mai Tai recipe. The ingredient list is simple and transparent: water, sugar, orange juice concentrate, carbon dioxide, citric acid, malic acid, then juice and safflower concentrates. No artificial sweeteners, no artificial colours beyond the flavourings. Two preservatives (potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate) appear at the end. Nutritional information per 100ml hasn't been confirmed from an authoritative source, so those fields are blank. A. Le Coq produces this alongside the Virgin Blue Lagoon as part of their non-alcoholic cocktail RTD range, aimed at the same market as the Fassbrause line but without the vitamin enrichment and without the beer character. It's a festival drink or a party fridge staple rather than something you'd think about too hard. Available in 330ml cans.
