The Passionfruit & Guava variant is the more aromatic of Hip Pop's two CBD kombuchas. Passionfruit, guava and pineapple juices from concentrate give it a layered tropical character -- the passionfruit provides the sharp, acidic edge, the guava softens it, and the pineapple adds body and structure without dominating. Like the rest of the Hip Pop range, the fermentation base does real work here. Brewing from green and black tea gives the kombucha enough tannin backbone to prevent the fruit from reading as squash. The CBD, at 15mg per 330ml can, contributes nothing to the flavour -- this is a well-made kombucha that happens to contain CBD rather than a CBD product with kombucha on the label. At 15 kcal and 2.8g of sugar per 100ml, the numbers are in line with the standard Hip Pop range. No sweeteners, no stevia.
