About This Drink
Lowlander is a Netherlands-based brewery that has built its identity around botanical brewing — using flowers, herbs, spices and other plant-based ingredients alongside traditional malt and hops. Their Non-Alc Blond is a recent addition to the range, launched in early 2026, and follows the same botanical-forward approach as their other non-alcoholic beers. The flavour leans gentle. Elderflower leads, with a faint hint of maple syrup that keeps things from feeling too dry. It's a blonde in the Belgian tradition — soft, easy-going, and not particularly bitter. The 0.3% ABV puts it in the low-alcohol rather than strictly alcohol-free category, though it's well within Practically Clear's scope. Lowlander is one of the more ethically minded brands in this space — they donate 1% of revenue via 1% for the Planet, directed here towards reforestation projects. The beer is sold from their own website in 12-bottle cases, primarily to the Netherlands, though it is starting to appear via UK retailers.
