About This Drink
Monday's Gin is the flagship of the range and does the most recognisable job: standing in for a classic London Dry. Juniper leads from the first sniff and stays prominent throughout, which is the right call — without that, it wouldn't be gin-adjacent in any meaningful sense. Bitter lemon and grapefruit pith follow, with coriander adding a faint spice and cucumber providing a cooling lift at the back. The mouthfeel is slightly viscous neat, which is deliberate — xanthan gum and locust bean gum give it more body than water alone, helping it behave like a spirit in a glass. Served over ice or with tonic it crisps up considerably, and that's where it works best. The botanical hit carries through a G&T convincingly; in more spirit-forward drinks the alcohol gap is more noticeable. Zero calories, zero sugar, zero carbs — the same nutritional profile as the rest of the Monday range. Ingredients are natural spring water, monk fruit, citric acid, and botanical extracts. Vegan and gluten-free. It's primarily a US brand, but available through specialist AF retailers in the UK.
