Karavan Free is the non-alcoholic version of Nepomucen's Karavan wheat beer, retaining the cloudy, yeast-hazy character of the style while leaning heavily into American hops. The selection, Citra, HBC 630, Sabro and Centennial, pushes the fruit profile toward tropical and coconut rather than the banana and clove notes you'd expect from a traditional German weizen. It pours hazy straw to pale gold with a soft, persistent white head. The aroma is lively: ripe citrus, pineapple and a hint of coconut from the Sabro, with a subtle floury, bready note underneath. On the palate, Citra citrus comes through clearly alongside a light tropical sweetness. The wheat base gives a slightly silky texture, and the bitterness is moderate without dominating.
