Free Damm is Damm's alcohol-free version of its flagship lager, brewed in Barcelona. The alcohol is removed using vacuum distillation, a process that operates at reduced pressure to lower the boiling point and protect the beer's aromatic character. Aromatic compounds lost during removal are then reintroduced to restore the beer's flavour. The drink is sold internationally as Free Damm and has been relaunched as Estrella Damm 0.0% in some markets. At 17 IBU, it sits at the lighter, less bitter end of the lager spectrum.
