Ripe strawberry and sweet plum on the nose; fine persistent bubbles in a salmon pink glass.
About This Drink
Darling Cellars DC De-Alcoholised Sparkling Rosé NV is a South African alcohol-free sparkling rosé, made by winemakers Pieter-Niel Rossouw and Reon Richter. The wine is blended from 96% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Grenache, then de-alcoholised, meaning it is fermented at full strength before the alcohol is removed. Light salmon pink in the glass, it carries a fine bead of persistent bubbles. On the nose, ripe strawberry, sweet plum, and raspberry come through alongside citrus blossom. The palate shows red berries, peach, and tangy citrus, with a balanced feel and a crisp finish.
