About This Drink
Finote Apertif No. 1 is an alcohol-free vermouth made in the Occitanie region of France. It was created by Elodie Swanberg, who revisited recipes from her great-grandmother Joséphine Limouzy, known as Finote, who made her aperitifs in Argelès-sur-Mer in the nineteenth century. The drink is built through artisanal blending and uses infusions of gentian and ginseng. The taste runs from ripe grape and candied fruits through oak wood and a slight bitterness from the gentian, closing on a sweet gingerbread finish. It is an award-winning aperitif.
