Graf Hardegg Embrizzo Grape Kombucha comes from Weingut Graf Hardegg, a winery in the northern Weinviertel region of Austria. It is a kombucha, fermented with a culture of bacteria and yeast, but built on wine grapes: Merlot and Zweigelt go into the base, alongside Mühlviertler hops. The production method has a European patent application, and the drink is made without artificial preservatives and without heat treatment, which is why it reaches the bottle with a natural cloudiness rather than being filtered or pasteurised clear. This alcohol-free, award-winning kombucha is dry, with none of the sweetness kombucha often carries.
